Monarch Club
Why should I enroll my child in a social skills group?
The Monarch Club has helped kids build social and language skills needed for success in school and social settings. As these children get older, they often need ongoing support with new challenges like jobs, relationships, and becoming independent, confident young adults.
What do you work on in the social skills groups?
The Monarch Club offers the next level of social skills training to match each person's unique needs. We combine one-on-one and group therapy to provide focused help in a safe clinical and social setting. Each Monarch needs a screening before joining to place them in the right group and create a personal care plan.
Groups meet and cover topics like relationships, job skills, social skills, planning and organization, self-esteem, and more! We add individual sessions as needed to target specific concerns, talk about progress and challenges, and give the one-on-one feedback needed to get the most out of group time.
How long is a semester?
The groups meet once a week for an hour. Fall Semester is typically 12-14 weeks, Winter Semester is typically 12 weeks, Spring Semester is typically 10-12 weeks, and Summer Semester is typically 8-10 weeks.
