Our flagship program for social skill development!
SBC teaches social communication and play skills to
children ages 3-10 in a fun, structured environment with
peers. Groups meet 1 hour per week. Camps meet 2 hours
several days per week
The unique structure of our program also develops speech,
language, fine motor, gross motor, and socialemotional/play skills.
We use evidence based therapeutic methods combined with a specialized curriculum in our social group.
Our lead therapists are certified Speech-Language
Pathologists or Occupational Therapists who have been
trained in the Social Butterflies Club program along with
other therapy methods such as sensory integration.
All of our support staff (educational specialists/assistants)
are also trained in the program for continuity of services
provided to the children.
Children with social communication disorders/delayed
social skills are a diverse population! Our program is not
diagnosis driven. Any child with social-emotional and
communication difficulties are enrolled in our programs
Each participant will have an initial social communication
evaluation to determine target goals and group placement.
We have 3 levels of groups: Blue Butterflies (Basic), Red
Butterflies (Intermediate), and Green Butterflies
(advanced). Placement will be determined based on
evaluation results.
